SEE SHEPHERD

Founded in 1977 by Captain Paul Watson, SEA SHEPHERD is the most combative ocean defence NGO in the world. Sea Shepherd works on the following major axes: going beyond protest and intervening in an active, non-violent way in cases of illegal attacks on marine life and marine ecosystems.

Their mission: to defend marine life

From the smallest creatures to the giants of the seas, Sea Shepherd's mission is to protect all the species that inhabit our oceans. Sea Shepherd's campaigns focus on defending whales, dolphins, seals, sharks, penguins, turtles, fish, krill, and seabirds from poaching, unsustainable fishing, habitat destruction, and captivity.

Sea Shepherd France

One of the most important national entities of Sea Shepherd France is a non-profit organisation whose purpose is to financially, logistically and humanly support international campaigns but also, increasingly, to work on local issues. A particularly important challenge in view of the enormous French maritime territory, the second largest in the world with nearly 11 million square kilometres.

In the words of Dub inc

We first met with the Sea Shepherd organisation in the summer of 2022, during the Bobital festival. That day, we were able to discuss with members of the organisation at their booth. Since then, we have stayed in touch and they regularly come and set up information booths at our shows.
